The all-new 2020 Ford Super Duty crushes the competition with best-in-class towing, payload, and power. With max towing at 37,000 pounds, the Super Duty is the most capable heavy-duty pickup truck ever made.
The Super Duty sweeps the diesel segment with best-in-class conventional, fifth-wheel, and gooseneck towing, with conventional at an incredible 24,200 pounds and fifth-wheel at 32,500 pounds. The Super Duty also boasts class-leading diesel power and torque with a whopping 1,050 lb-ft of torque.
It’s not just diesel where the Super Duty excels. It’s also a leader in gas power. The available 7.3-liter V8 engine delivers 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque, and the standard 6.2-liter gas engine has a best-in-class maximum payload of 7,850 pounds.
The 2020 Super Duty also offers a range of features to further improve towing performance, like Pro Trailer Backup Assist, which improves maneuverability in reverse, and Trailer Reverse Guidance, which gives suggestions for moving the trailer backward based on its angle.
The Super Duty adds the available Tremor Off-Road Package this year, making it perform better on off-road trails than ever. And it’s stocked with technologies, like a standard FordPass Connect™ embedded 4G LTE modem with Wi-Fi access and convenient wireless charging.
Ford says the new Super Duty will start shipping out to dealerships by the end of the year, and we can’t wait to welcome it here at Midwest Ford.
